13th Annual Prairie Falcon Motorcycle Rally - Post Ride Report

June 2011

The 13th annual Prairie Falcon Motorcycle Rally (PFMR) was held June 11, 2011.

On a brilliant sunny day, 20 bikes along with 22 riders headed north for a day on the road and dodging of a few potholes.  Just over $3000 was raised which was shared between MCC’s project; Motorcycles in Brazil and RJC’s project; upgrades to the College entrance

Lunch was at The Lark Restaurant at Shell Lake’s golf course by the 5th Hole tee next door to the old railway station museum. After a great lunch of burgers, project reports and catching up on which bike has the smallest gas tank, riders headed west to Spiritwood and then south through Rabbit Lake and on to North Battleford.  For those who continued on, the ride ended back in Saskatoon for an evening meal at David’s Restaurant and Lounge.

It was great to see riders from not only Saskatoon but also from Drake, Biggar, Langham, Wakaw and Perdue.

Special thanks go to rally organizers Rick Epp, Dennis Heinrichs, Jerald Thiessen and Eldon Driedger

Since its inception in 1999, PFMR participants and there many generous supporters have raised more than $30,000.
