About MCC Saskatchewan

Claire Ewert Fisher, MCC Saskatchewan Executive Director

Living stones is who we are, building up the kingdom of God. (1 Peter 2:5) On the Living Stones Tour, twenty five churches have already engaged in conversation and listened to stories about the work of MCC  “in the name of Christ”. The goal is to connect with each church in our constituency.

We work together, donors and volunteers and staff. We construct a work that is ‘Christ-approved’ as we walk with partners, at home and around the world.

MCCS works at local peacebuilding -

  • Kids Club at Appleby Drive in Saskatoon
  • "Get the Picture: Films for Change" nights for youth and young adults
  • Refugee resettlement in our communities
  • Aboriginal Neighbors celebrations with Lutherans and Mennonites
  • Caring for released offenders in circles of support and accountability.

Thrift Shop workers and boards cooperate to raise money for our partners around the world. Our community of supporters celebrates 40 years of Relief Sales in Saskatoon. God is doing something wonderful in this place as funds are generated for development and relief work in over 50 different countries.

Thank you for ‘building a sanctuary vibrant with life’ through your many contributions to MCC.
